Pulled in 1999.
The pack was opened at a kitchen table in 1999 by somebody who was looking for a different card entirely. What came out was Shiny: pink, iridescent, faintly damp, and immediately the most valuable thing in the house.
He was never sleeved. He was never graded. He was carried in a back pocket through three schools and two house moves, and he still catches the light exactly the way he did on the kitchen table.
There is one of him. There will only ever be one of him. That is the entire economic model, and it has held up better than most.
